George Borthwick
George Borthwick is the Chairman of the board of directors for Mpathy Medical. Mr Borthwick is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and is also a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute. Mr Borthwick worked for Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson Company, for 33 years and retired in 2002 from his position as President of Ethicon, Europe.
Gavin Gemmell
Gavin Gemmell is Chairman of Archangel Informal Investment Limited and has held a number of appointments in Corporate, Public, and Charitable fields. He retired as Chief Executive of fund managers Baillie Gifford in 2001. He is Chairman of the governing council of Heriot-Watt University, in Edinburgh, Scotland, and has previously held positions as Chairman of Scottish Widows plc and Director of Lloyds TSB Group.
Ann Gloag
Ann Gloag is one of Britian's most succesful businesswomen and co-founder of the global rail and bus empire called the Stagecoach Transport Group. She is also a trained nurse that was once honored by African leaders for paying for hospital ships which give free health care in the world's poorest countries. Gloag also has investments outside Stagecoach Group through her Highland & Universal Investments Company and a chain of gas stations and other property interests through a shareholding in Moncrieffe Holdings. Gloag also devotes a significant amount of her time to charity interests, including support for Mercy Ships and Opportunity International. She was appointed Order of the British Empire in the 2004 New Year's Honours List for her services to charity. She was educated at Caledonian Road Primary School and Perth High School. She had a 20 year career working as a burns unit nurse. |
