George Borthwick
George Borthwick is the Chairman of the board of directors for Mpathy Medical. Mr Borthwick is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and is also a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute. Mr Borthwick worked for Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson Company, for 33 years and retired in 2002 from his position as President of Ethicon, Europe.
Janis Anderson
Janis Anderson co-founded Mpathy Medical in 2003. Ms Anderson has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial sector and has served as a financial consultant for a number of companies including Elderstreet Investments, a UK-based venture capital fund management company. She is the Founder Director of Javelin Ventures Limited, a FSA authorized fund management company, and previously held the positions of Managing Director at Bermona Limited and Grosvenor Venture Managers Limited.
Gavin Gemmell
Gavin Gemmell is Chairman of Archangel Informal Investment Limited and has held a number of appointments in Corporate, Public, and Charitable fields. He retired as Chief Executive of fund managers Baillie Gifford in 2001. He is Chairman of the governing council of Heriot-Watt University, in Edinburgh, Scotland, and has previously held positions as Chairman of Scottish Widows plc and Director of Lloyds TSB Group.
